And it's goodbye from me...

On several occasions over recent days my cursor has hovered over the ‘delete blog’ button as I have deliberated whether or not to continue the blog. Today I finally decided to bring my blogging to an end and have deleted all my posts. For the most part it has been interesting and I have really enjoyed the interaction with those kind folk who have left comments over the last two and a half years.

In my humble opinion, to make the blog worthwhile and for it to add any value, would require the discovery of a niche and covering the subject well. Doing that to a high standard and maintaining it would take more time than I am now prepared to give. I want something more satisfying and that is the right reason to give up blogging and do something else with my time.

I am leaving my recommended links and blogs up and hope you continue to enjoy the work of those bloggers. Thanks for reading and contributing. All the best!

I'm sorry to see you go. You've stepped down from the Council, you've got rid of your blog, what's going on? You'll be missed until you come back.

Tony, I didn't get to you as much as I'd wanted and it's sad you're doing it but I understand. I'll be in touch by email.

I will miss reading your posts which in my opinion was one of the best “common sense" blogs.

Best wishes for the future,

Mark.

Ouch dude. Sorry to see you go, the blogosphere has lost one of the few people really interested in doing the right thing. Wish you all the best and hope we keep in contact!

Winding up the Walker/Robinson clan through this website was easy - easy pray, no sense of reality and just plainly barmy! Whether the BNP thinks they are effective - time will tell - their true face will show very quickly and people are not stupid. Take care mate.

Hello Tony,

Sorry You've given up your postings - I know it's a busy websphere out there and none of us have anywhere near enough time to read it let alone write it.

Do stay in touch and in politics.

Kind wishes, Sean.

What is the point in deleting your posts you could have kept them up?

Tony, I will miss our regular exchanges - and thanks for introducing me to blogging - it is all your fault!

Fantastic post. Some great information to be absorbed in this post. Thank you for writing this. I am just about to jump head first into some serious blogging so hopefully it’s still a way to generate income! Much appreciated.
